I met Randi at 4:30 in the morning a few months ago when I first moved to historic Route 66 / Willams, AZ. She was a passenger in the same vehicle I was in, headed to the Grand Canyon, 50 miles away from home. We watched the sunrise at the GC together that really early, freezing-ass cold morning. It was really cold and I was extremely tired, not getting more than three hours of sleep the previous night. And, like the stalker I am, in my delirium, I asked her if I could please photograph her sometime because I thought she was strikingly beautiful. Well, here she is, a senior in high school–lucky me. Lucky my camera. Redheads have more luck. And sass, wouldn’t you say?
